Abstract

The advances imposed by technological evolution have stimulated the development of unprecedented forms of criminality. Simultaneously, new legal goods have emerged, provoking debates about the protection of personal data and the fundamental rights that surround it, in a globalized world. The need for legislative development regarding international legal cooperation is questioned, in the face of the imperative international transfer of data by the organs of public security and criminal prosecution, addressing the main challenges imposed by the new reality.
