Compliance effects in the corporate criminal procedure

Abstract

The contributions that the compliance programs bring to the criminal procedure against legal entities are discussed, approaching themes such as the burden of proof of the compliance effectiveness, the presumption of innocence and the right to non-self-incrimination of the legal entity, as well as the conflict of interest between the company and the manager accused by the same fact.
